报告内容简介：

In this report, I will focus on the research progress regarding the Tingley’s problem and the Mazur-Ulam property in Banach spaces. I will also demonstrate that symmetric function spaces possess the Mazur-Ulam property. That is, every surjective isometry from the unite sphere of symmetric function space to the unit sphere of Banach space F admits an extension to a surjective linear isometry from the symmetric function space onto F, where F is an arbitrary Banach space.

报告人简介：

王瑞东，天津理工大学教授、博士生导师，天津市“131”创新型人才，天津市工业与应用数学学会常务理事。主要从事泛函分析中的Banach空间几何理论研究，在Studia Math.，J.Math.Anal.Appl.等国内外重要期刊上发表学术论文30余篇, 并受波兰Schauder中心邀请为该中心期刊《Lecture Note in Nonlinear Analysis》（该期刊每年仅就一个专题发表一篇专著)撰写相关专题。主持完成国家自然科学基金2项，目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项、天津市自然科学基金面上项目1项。
